Hi, I’m Megan Freeman.

Hi, I’m Megan Freeman, an instructional leader and curriculum-focused educator with a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have eight years of experience teaching elementary mathematics and designing standards-aligned curriculum that supports both teachers and students.
My passion for curriculum design comes from seeing the impact that well-structured, standards-aligned instruction can have on student understanding. I am especially interested in creating instructional materials that are both rigorous and accessible, ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed.
In my current role, I serve as a Math PLC Lead and Department Head, where I collaborate with teachers to align curriculum, analyze student data, and improve instructional practices. I have also contributed to district-level curriculum initiatives, working with educators to refine instructional materials and support school-wide improvement efforts.
I am now seeking opportunities to transition into a curriculum design role where I can apply my experience on a broader scale, developing high-quality instructional resources that support educators and improve student learning outcomes. I am passionate about creating curriculum that is both practical for teachers and meaningful for students.
